omg what have we been up to?
sorry to neglect our little blog recently, big stuffs have been happening.
We’ve, sadly, taken a break for the summer (hot hot hot) from doing live performance shows at the Alwun House. Sad face. Totes. but it’s too hot yo!
We can recommend that you check out these other fine shows in phx for your monthly entertainment:
The Firestage at the Firehouse every 3rd friday of the month, free
The Hidden House Comedy Show at the Hidden House, a weekly stand up show for free every wednesday nights
The Turf Comedy Hour at the Turf Pub on Monday nights, another weekly stand up night, free
Sweets & Beats Comedy Hour at Sweets & Beats Candy and Record Shop, held every 2nd and 4th tuesday of the month - weird downtown art performance comedy show!

so what have we been up to lately? Well lots of stuff:
Amy Jean Page has been performing with The Empty Frames Experiment and they recently won at Cagematch at Space 55. She’s also been doing the 7 Minutes in Heaven weekly performances in June through Space 55.
Brandon Huigens just had his comic, Bong Otter, featured in the Phoenix New Times and his quirky short film The Adventures of Fruits the Cat: The Movie won Best Film at the Phoenix Comicon’s 2010 Arizona Creators Challenge!
Brandon has also begun hosting Karoke every Thursday night at Plazma bar! Come sing with him!
Jacki O. just got back from Mexico where she was a featured writer at the 15th annual Horas de Junio writers conference in Hermosillo. She’s also been tapped as a writer for a new live sketch show coming in September at the Firehouse. And her soon-to-be published porn mag for women, PoolBoy, just got an honorable mention in the Phoenix New Times.
Stay tuned for more Femocracy events coming soon! We’re working on some new scripts for short films as well as planning some interesting and enlightening local sporadic events throughout the summer!
keep it classy phx
